Ruaidhri also performs with distinguished cellist, Corentin Chassard, as the cello and laptop duo, Partial Gathering. They have performed at many of London's most cutting edge new-music venues and club nights including The Old Vic Tunnels, King's Place, Whitechapel Gallery, Resonance FM, Music Orbit, Alphaville Festival, Chimera Productions and made their Irish debut at the Sonorities Festival of Contemporary Music.

 

Engaging electronic beats fused with volatile string textures, Partial Gathering make musical paint and throw it around with reckless abandon. This cello and laptop duo are the hunters and gatherers of new sounds in a violent aural killing field. This is not pushing boundaries but denying them.
